Panic and Astrology
I just came across this little collection of vintage Panic comic books on Flickr, and I'm totally digging the designs even though, truthfully, I have zero clue what the comic is about.
Fortunately, Mr. PopKulture on Flickr does have a clue, and he's generous enough to share it with us here:
Panic was published by E.C. comics, who also published a similar and better-known satire comic called Mad Comics, which eventually became Mad Magazine. Like most E.C. comics of the day, Panic featured four stories by comic art heavyweights like Bill elder, Jack Davis, and the great Wally Wood.
Panic is one of a handful of titles that E.C. published after the Comics Code Authority (C.C.A.) was established, usually designated as their short-lived "New Direction" titles. The C.C.A. effectively did away with the more popular E.C. books like Tales from the Crypt and The Vault of Horror.

Also enjoyable? These awesome Everyday Astrology covers and their primary color scheme, also from PopKulture's photostream:
