I just lucked onto a Polish blog that features amazingly lovely vintage book covers and illustrations that I am exceedingly excited to share with you. Well, actually, not all of them are vintage, but a majority are. And they aren't all Polish, either; it's a highly multinational, equal-opportunity, book-loving blog. And, as such, I'm a total freakin' convert. And I'm feeling like doing a little prostelytizing, so... go forth and become believers! The wonderful blog is called HipopotamStudio: książki z naszej półki (Books off the Shelf), and the creator has even produced a book of 1000 Polish book covers from his collection (check it out HERE). Here are some of my favorite covers:
